Rochesterdowntown.com was developed jointly by the Rochester Downtown Development Corporation (RDDC) and the Downtown Special Services, Inc., with funding support from the City of Rochester.

In response to the burgeoning demand for real-time information about Rochester's rapid downtown development, this site was created with the following goals:

• Spur further business development in the downtown area by providing easy access to our comprehensive database including 9.8 million square feet of commercial space;

• Expand downtown's vibrant residential neighborhoods and encourage housing development and conversion;

• Connect people with a wide variety of urban lifestyle options;

• Illuminate the many downtown dining and entertainment choices; and,

• Provide access to the broad base of downtown services and amenities.
